Agata Smolak

Political scientist, researcher of youth policy, future competences and transition from the education system to the labor market. She joined the Młodzi w centrum LAB (Youth Center) of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in order to carry out a study related to understanding the expectations of employers, teachers and youth in relation to the vocational training process in the dual system and to check what barriers hamper this activity. Currently, a PhD student at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, writes a thesis “Youth policy in the employment and labor market. A study of future competences among vocational education and training students”. She also studied at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw. She was a scholar under Schuman program in European Parliament in Brussels as well as at the House of Representatives in Washington D.C. Currently, she is head of youth organisation – Mladiinfo Poland, expert on future competences and European project consultant at the Academy of European Careers
