Youth Research Center is a research center within the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Poland (5 campuses: Warsaw, Katowice, Wroclaw, Poznan, Sopot). The Center seeks to fulfill the following goals:

  • To explore the behaviors and experiences of young people representing various age groups, as well as with diverse professional and social backgrounds, migrating and sedentary;
  • To gather information for creating dedicated youth programs and evidence-based youth policy capable of soliciting business partnerships;
  • To support youth in understanding the fast-changing world around them, inclusive of promoting peer mentoring approaches.

Youth Research Center provides a space for cooperation between partners representing academic and educational institutions, labour market, as well as non-governmental organizations and leading think tanks.  We offer knowledge and experience with regard to grant funding acquisition and are interested in serving as co-organizing partners of seminars, meetings, conferences and events dedicated to young people. Youth Research Center publishes also the Youth Working Papers in a series available online.

  • You are interested in youth issues;
  • You want to share and actively disseminate your research results;
  • You want to learn what others think about your research.

Youth Research Center at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a pre-publication series and invites submissions. All manuscripts are peer-reviewed by the members of the Scientific Board collaborating with the Youth Research Center.

Submission guidelines:

Papers may either be interdisciplinary or represent a specific approach within broadly conceived Youth Studies;
